Simona - Dont Chu Get It (Letra)

Simona originarios de Cuajimalpa, empezaron a componer música a mediados del 2006. Su sonido se inspira en bandas como Pink Floyd, NIN, David Bowie y Mogwai. Tienen una combinación de sonidos ambientales, post-rock y elementos psicodélicos. Su actuación en vivo es bien recibida debido a su energética presencia en el escenario. Las proyecciones, la iluminación y los ruidos ambientales se utilizan para solidificar su presentación. En 2006, grabaron un EP de 3 canciones, y en Junio del 2009 lanzaron su debut EP titulado MexDF, MexDF, MexDF, producido en colaboración con miembros de los Dynamite (Eduardo Pacheco y Diego Solorzano). El disco contiene 7 tracks y el empaque es una especie de libro con encuadernado japonés, el cual contiene una ilustración por cada canción del ep, las cuales se disfrutan con unos lentes estereoscopios que vienen incluidos en el librito del disco, incluye material extra: dos videos musicales y un remix de los Dynamite. El disco lo hicieron de forma independiente por lo que no lo podremos encontrar en mixup o en otra tienda, pero lo venden en estas tiendas: MERCADORAMA, DISCOTECA, ROCKSHOP Y FRONTERA y obviamente en sus tocadas. Hoy dejo esta canción que llamó la atención de muchos al ver a una chica alocada bailandola en el comercial de SABA y nos preguntabamos... de quién es esa rola? pues si, es de Simona!
